The parish office at the far end of the church is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 10am – 12noon,
staffed by volunteers who are ready to help you with enquiries.

The Writtle Gardens Open Day has become a special attraction for over 25 years and a chance to enjoy an afternoon in our picturesque village. This year, as well as regular garden favourites, there will be four new ones to visit!
Proceedings start at 11.30 am on Writtle Green with judging of a children’s scarecrow competition. The official opening is at midday, followed by a performance from the Mayflower Morris Men.
