All Saints Church, Writtle

Remembrance Sunday

Due to the enactment of Lockdown 2.0 on Thursday 5 November 2020, we have had to close the church again. Therefore, we will not be able to hold the traditional Remembrance Service and there will be no official ceremony of the laying of Wreaths at the Memorial on the Green.

However, we will still hold a Remembrance Service at 10am on Sunday morning on our Youtube channel here The names of the fallen will still be read out, and they will be remembered.

The Service Sheet for you to follow along with can be found HERE. We hope you can join us on this important national day, even though it will feel very different to what would normally be done in person.

With every blessing to you all,
Rev Tony
